| I have many different goals and motives for this project, here are a few:
TO PAY RESPECT AND HONOR, in my own way, to the wonderful, heroic, and ingenious accomplishments of Wilbur and Orville Wright. With some exceptions in the interests of safety and reliability my plane will be a pretty faithful representation of the Wright Brothers' technology. People can look and touch and see how Wilbur and Orville turned wood, cotton cloth, and metal into a man carrying flying machine. TO SHARE the mystery, beauty, and adventure of flight with as many children (of all ages) as possible. I would like to give rides in my flying machine to people such as "make a wish" kids, and someone old enough to remember seeing a Wright Flyer in the air, and someone who has flown a Space Shuttle, and any direct relative of the Wright Brothers, and.... as I fly over the highways, towns and cities of this country thousands can witness the miracle of wood, fabric, and steel transformed into flight. MAKE A DOCUMENTARY FILM of my adventures as I fly across this continent discovering people, places, things, and stories relating to our country's rich heritage of aviation history. You are all invited to become part of the world's largest research team on America's aviation history and send me verifiable accounts of little known stories of interest that I may include on film. I also want to film me and my flying machine fluttering across the sky in front of places like Mt. Rushmore, the Grand Canyon, Niagara Falls, Crazy Horses' monument, Cape Canaveral with the Space Shuttle taking off in the background, JFK International as the Concord is landing, the Statue of Liberty, and, of course, over a crowd of amazed hat waving people. TO LIVE MY DREAM. There is a little bit of Waldo Pepper and Jacques Cousteau in me, waiting to get out. This is my chance! I believe we are all given "poems" to live from time to time and we should choose to learn them so we can recite their beauty to the world. I am an artist, master craftsman, pilot, engineer, adventurer, and entertainer so I feel qualified for this mission..........besides, I love to have fun.....I think it would be fun to fly over a county fair and drop daisies onto the crowd and share with them the innocent days of the air machine; the days of low r.p.m.'s and high hopes! TO PARTY with the world as we celebrate one hundred years of flight, and honor its pioneers. Thanks for the visit,
